Window cleaning in Long Beach

The best window cleaning you’ve ever had, or it’s free.

Long Beach is a quiet stretch of the Sound with big oaks behind the beach and pines further north. We keep the salt off the front glass and the pollen off the rest, on a set neighborhood day, inside and out.

Now booking. Serving Long Beach, MS 39560.

What Long Beach does to a window

Long Beach runs north from the Mississippi Sound in a long rectangle, and the salt follows the same shape. Along Beach Boulevard and the first several blocks behind it, around Jeff Davis Avenue, the harbor and the Gulf Park campus, the afternoon breeze off the Sound leaves a salt haze on the south-facing glass within a couple of weeks. Most of the beachfront was rebuilt on piers after Katrina, which puts the main floor glass right up in the wind and makes the haze show faster than it did on the old ground-level cottages.

Behind the beach, the trouble is trees. The old live oaks that survived the storm still line the streets between the beach and the railroad, and they drop pollen and tassels every March and keep the north-facing glass and screens shaded and damp. North of Pass Road and Railroad Street, up Pineville Road and Klondyke Road toward the newer subdivisions, the oaks give way to pines, the pollen turns yellow instead of brown, and the irrigation runs on well water that leaves hard mineral spots along the lower panes. Everywhere in town, summer humidity and afternoon storms keep the tracks and sills wet enough to hold grit.

A quarterly plan suits most Long Beach homes, with the inside glass done once a year. Beachfront homes on Beach Boulevard usually go to every month or two, and customers under the oaks often add a spring visit for the pollen. We work the beach side and the north side on their own days, run the whole street in one pass, and send a text the morning of each visit so nobody has to wait at home.

Long Beach window cleaning questions

How much does window cleaning cost in Long Beach?

First-clean pricing varies by home size and service package. A first cleaning, inside and out, is $259 for a home up to 2,000 square feet, $329 for 2,000 to 3,500 square feet, and $429 for larger homes on our Silver package. After that, a quarterly maintenance plan runs $60, $77, or $100 a month for those same home sizes. Oceanfront and riverfront estates get a custom quote.

How often should windows be cleaned in Long Beach?

Quarterly works for most Long Beach homes north of the first few blocks off the beach. Beachfront homes along Beach Boulevard pick up salt film within weeks and do better every month or two. Most people have the inside glass done once a year.

Can you clean around hurricane shutters and storm panels?

Yes. If your shutters are up for the season we clean what is reachable and come back for the rest once they are down. Accordion and roll-down shutters do not get in the way of a regular clean.

Do you clean the tall glass on the elevated beach houses?

Yes. Most of the rebuilt homes along Beach Boulevard sit a story up on piers with a wall of glass facing the Sound, and we clean them with water-fed poles from the ground and ladders where needed. Tell us how many stories on the quote form so we bring the right equipment.
